    Default Challenge of the Superfriends

This episode often made me wonder. Couldn't that timetravel story actually work? That Cheetah actually became Wonder Woman?

I never saw that. How did Cheetah become an Amazon?

She went back in time and, if I recall, cheated in The Contest and won.

Huh, an interesting idea. The Cheetah becoming Wonder Woman. Scary!

If we get this how should this affect the Wonder Woman family? Where does Donna Troy?

I'm watching the Super Friends reruns on HBO Max. Wild stuff. The stories are all over the place, tonally. Of course, this was all aimed at younger kids way back then. The implicit aspect of an adult fanbase just wasn't there in Hollywood yet.
Every episode has such a pat ending, and you can tell how the writers were expected to work around having outright violence/fisticuffs in the action.

so far, some of the stuff that stands out: (spoilers)
    spoilers:
the Earth's moon turns out to be an egg/prison for a giant avian space monster. The solution ends up being to overpower it, send it back inside the moon (which is retconned as hollow and was split in half on the monster's escape) and Superman reseals the moon with heat vision. Problem solved!
    end of spoilers

Watching the hand drawn animation that was the standard back then, it's interesting, to compare it to now when you have hand drawn combined with computers, or all CGI in some series.

The Wonder Twins were a nice touch back then. I could see them being played by young actors of East/South Asian descent now. It's amazing that they were never properly incorporated into the comics beyond a cameo until recently.
