Raven be keeping her legs up in Council every meeting? I'd say it reminds me somewhat of Riker's way of sitting down, but the back of her chair's too high. Maybe that is her protest gesture until Destiny comes back.

Actually his Jean is the best part of the book. He managed to do her good and at the same time not making this a disguised solo like Red.

Mystique's line doesn't really work for me, didn't she act as a spy for Xavier for a brief time.
