I wouldn’t really call Paco Medina “kiddie” and the early Academy X stuff seemed more in respect to that late 90s/early 00s manga-style, but I guess I sort of but not really get what you’re saying.

Based on her last interactions with Beak and Angel in Morrison's run, I can understand her not being particularly thrilled about either of them being around.
