can someone tell me which Empyre issues are out and which are not? I was excited to get this series, and since we don't have a comic shop nearby, I'll order the copies online. I'm planning to get the print, not the digital.

None of the Empyre issues are out except for "Road to Empyre". They start trickling in on June 24 (Empyre #0: Avengers) and July 8 (Empyre #0: Fantastic Four), with the actual event going weekly in July.

Sucks for fans of some of those, but reducing the overall scope of issues is a good thing IMO. But, I hope those missing story elements don't mess with the event.

I'm guess it will be the ones that really don't fit it. The X-men, and the national teams first ones that come to mind.

Honestly I could lose all except Emperor Hulking cause that sets up needed back story, Invasion of Wakanda because that seems meaningful to the overall story, and Strikeforce because that explains what's happening with Billy.

Hulkling was solicited for July 22nd, so that's a mistake on BC's part.

Strikeforce is gone, unless it becomes a digital exclusive in July. A print release now would be too late, because there's two more issues before the Empyre one.

There was a solicit for issue 8 of Agents of Wakanda (July 8th), the three issues of Invasion should follow it but were not solicited... I won't be surprised if that's digital as well, if not, it's gone. Like Strikeforce, it can't now be printed in time for the end of the event.

I'm surprised they aren't choosing to make some of them digital only at the very least, but I geuss that shows the tie-ins just didn't matter that much.

That's... surprising. And it sets a precedent. I am officially concerned that any title taking too long to be solicited might end up suffering the same fate.
