Its a weird love/not-hate-but-not-love thing for me. I completely see how its very much a stereotype but it kind of actually works? readingher flashbacks it makes sense for her to have the wisdome she stays dropping. it also makes sense that she would feel comfortable lapsing into this unhinged teacher role....its what she learned but shes also not in the right mindset whatsoever. it adds up. but what irks me is i cant discern whether this characterization is intentional or the product of stereotypes. bleh

This is reminding me of bleach. Kubo didnt like deadline and editoral annoyed him,so he stopped drawing backgrounds making it either white, black, or speed lines. This is the same but at kubo made it so you could see the characters clearly.
That's an interesting comparison. Kubo's brightness to this title's darkness, all to cut down background drawing time.
