Iono maybe its cause hes not a large man and plays Finn a little goofy at times. I dont know but I've been a fan since Attack the block.

Sinestro isn't a surprise, but the time-span is interesting...makes me wonder if some of it will be a period piece and chronicle a lot of GL history.

Sinestro being involved makes it more likely to me that it's Hal and John, but the established GL "pairings" are more Guy and Kyle, or Jessica and Simon.

Logically, you're correct on both points. But logic often plays no role in Hollywood adaptations of comic book properties. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we get Baz & Cruz with some weird amalgamation of their origins with Hal & John's.

"Spanning decades" also tells me it's Hal and John because they feel like the two GL's who have the most material to adapt across several decades.
