Default TV Actor/Actress that successfully played more than one popular role

Some actors get typecast in one famous role and never seem to break out of that. Others manage to go on and become successful in other roles, almost making people forget the previous one.

Name an actor or actress who successfully played more than one famous tv role.

Example: Larry Hagman played Major Tony Nelson on I Dream of Jeannie then later on became JR Ewing on Dallas.

Carol O'Conner was a good one. Man, I tried to watch an episode of TJ Hooker not long ago on Tubi, I couldn't get through it. I had to be all of six when it came out, usually I'm up for all the 80s schlock but I couldn't do it...

I still watch The Big Valley on Saturday's. OT I always felt Lee Horsley got a raw deal, he was kinda like a poor man's Lee Majors in a way. Majors was a poor man's amalgam of several other actors of the time making it worse. One was still going up in a way and one was nearing the end, Majors had the Fall Guy and Horsley had Matt Houston.

Even though it was animated I'd swap I Spy for Fat Albert, all the live action scenes were just him. I wasn't around for I Spy until the early days of Nick at Night but Fat Albert was huge.

I think Buddy Ebsen works, Beverly Hillbillies and Barnaby Jones was on for several seasons even though both were sorta before my time.

Sherman Hemsley was in The Jefferson's and Amen both were pretty successful and to that Marla Gibbs was in The Jefferson's and went on to 227.

Probably one of the biggest was Hoff, I never watched Baywatch but I'm aware of how popular it once was was, it had it's own spin-off. I was a Knight Rider fanatic though as a kid. He'll always be Michael Knight to me.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?
