Yu is one of my favorite artists ever, his Wolverine's are especially awesome.

Reminds me of when the X-Men were still the X-Men. How far Marvel has fallen...

Yu is good with close up shots of characters faces, but his action scenes lack energy IMO and his perception of anatomy is questionable... though not Leifeld levels. I'd argue that his very first work on Wolverine in the late 90s was his best work, but I'm just not feeling his current stuff.

I really love those Old Man Logan covers for Lemire's last arc. Gonna be cool to have them all together when it's over.

He hooked me with his work on Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk. Ever since then I try to pick up anything he is on.

All he draws is characters. Panel after panel of static characters, no storytelling, no "camera tricks", and dont even think about backgrounds other than a wall, maybe.

    Those are real cool.

One can dream for the new team of Millar and Mcniven, right? Right?

I'd love to see McNiven back. Or Coipel on the book.

Anyway... here's Old Man Logan #17 preview from comicvine:

Nah he and Deadpool are just not represented all that well here. The two most successful x-characters with ongoings have some of the least amount of traffic on their appreciation threads.

That's a nice cover... except for Logan foaming at the mouth like a raving lunatic and Cyclops blasting into nothingness. What the hell is he shooting at anyway? What's got Logan foaming? What the hell is Jean thinking? And what in the hell is Xavier pointing at? These are questions I need answered...

Sorrentino's art is so amazing! I love this book
“Now faith, hope, and love remain, and the greatest of these is love.”--1 Corinthians 13:13

    “You had a dream; I have a plan”--Cyclops

“There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes.”--The Doctor

I know. Really hope the next creative team on OML has the same "wow factor".
