They're mostly just for fun -something different. And completely random sometimes. They usually aren't indicative of anything important or relating to the story.

Like one Deadpool variant where he's on stage stripping -or exotic dancing for tons of women. That didn't happen in the books anywhere.

If it's a minority, you're not alone. I don't like it at all. Human bodies don't build muscle like that, and the way he draws the claws is at the "ridiculous" end of the scale.

You're definitely not alone. I don't mind him, but I'm never super excited when he is the announced artist. I get super hype for Yu, Ribic, Opeña, Mcniven and Bachallo when they draw Logan. Every other main stay Marvel artist varies from pretty hyped to meh.

It looks like this version of All-New X-Men is actually Extraordinary X-Men (and maybe Uncanny too - they're thicker than the US editions so presumably print multiple issues like the UK's Panini reprints do) - it seems all the books had All-New in the title to indicate they're part of the ANAD initiative.
