These novels were generally for a younger audience, but were far, far from the quality of Claudia Gray, Judy Watson or even Kevin J. Anderson's work in that regard, and they were largely ignored by fans of the EU.


Along with a bit of "Dark Empire" which had the Emperor resurrected, and added a lot of new Sith lore to the series (Many of the details in "Dark Empire" formed the basis for Tales of the Jedi and it's spinoffs, including the holocrons which are still canon).
