Thank you both! Metamorpho was the last of my personal "Big Four" DC characters who hadn't been used yet in these and, when I read about his connection to Akron, I knew this is where I wanted him.

There was one character who almost made the cut but I had misremembered the historical fact that made her a good fit for the team, so I had to pivot. Maybe she'll show up on another team.

for New Hampshire I've decided to relocate Katherine Kane to the state and have her head up, essentially, a LGBTQ+ version of the Justice League. The team name is very straight-forward and no nonsense, pulling no punches about who they are and what they stand for: PRIDE (caps intentional)

    Batwoman (Kate)
    Superman (Jon Kent)
    Artemis
Green Lantern (Alan Scott, the "elder statesman")
    Aquaman (Jackson Hyde/Kaldur)
    Green Arrow (Connor Hawke)

Earth-11 Flash (Jess Chambers) would help them out sometimes, without joining on a permanent basis

The Mississippi Initiative, based out of vicksburg’s McRaven House, has been unofficially dubbed “The Monster Squad”.

    ANDREW BENNETT
When the centuries old vampire was offered the Mississippi Initiative he handpicked a team he’d be comfortable with, and who’d be comfortable with him.

    THE FRANKENSTEIN MONSTER
Speaking of centuries old, Frankenstein, a one time Agent of S.H.A.D.E. has been fighting the forces of evil for a long long time.

    WOLFPACK
Not truly immortal, Warren Griffith’s lycanthropy has kept the werewolf vital since WWII, where he fought the Axis as part of the Creature Commandos.

    SCREAM QUEEN
Markovian born vampire Nina Skorzeny was once lead singer of the supernatural rock band Scare Tactics. She’s becoming known for throwing some kick ass parties at the McRaven House.

    LAMPLIGHT
A mission w. the black ops Stormwatch team left Lamplight in a nebulous state of unlife. The alien lamp from which he gets his name gives him, among other things, power over the dead.

    RAG DOLL
It’s really saying something when on a team like this, the creepy contortionist Peter Merkel Jr. is usually referred to as “the weird one”.

Ooooooooh...I LOVE it. Just the perfect collection of monster/near monster characters. And Mississippi is perfect for that kind of neo-Gothic vibe. Fan-damn-tastic!

Sometimes there are teams where the line-ups just click, regardless of whether the initial collection of members feels random and out-of-sorts. And then there are teams like this. Pray for North Carolina...because they have THE CORSAIRS!

    Corsairs.jpg

    STAR SAPPHIRE
Carol Ferris wasn't sure she wanted to even be a part of the Initiative, given her spotty history with the Star Sapphire identity. Still, after a conversation with Hal Jordan, she took the opportunity to be a part of the North Carolina team, watching over the state where manned flight, such a major part of her life, was essentially born. What she was not expecting was to be made leader of the team, nor to be saddled with such a bizarre collection of teammates. And she thought trying to be Hal's boss was frustrating...

    SWASHBUCKLER
Michael Carter, nephew of the Greg Saunders Vigilante, had been working in Houston but jumped at the chance to be part of the North Carolina team, given that state's history with piracy and Michael's own romanticized take on it all, stemming from various films he watched as a child. He's the member Star Sapphire was familiar with the least but immediately the one she trusts the most.

    CAPTAIN STRONG
With his houseboat moored along the Carolina coast, Captain Horatio Strong claims to have found a non-addictive variation of sauncha, the extraterrestrial seaweed that grants him super-strength and the power of flight. While grateful for such a powerful ally, Sapphire is taken aback by Strong's overly flinty demeanor and his somewhat outdated attitudes on things. And then there's the question of whether the sauncha really is non-addictive or if Strong has just fallen off the wagon.

    THE LIQUIDATOR
A mutated creature serving as a vigilante of the oceans, the Liquidator grew tired of the politics of the seven seas and withdrew, ultimately winding up dealing with water-based crime along the eastern seaboard. With a recommendation from his one-time frenemy Aquaman, the creature is accepted into the Initiative and placed on the North Carolina team. But with close to no experience working with humans, let alone a team of them where he doesn't call the shots, it remains to be seen how effective he'll be.

    KLARION THE WITCH BOY
Klarion has the distinction of being the member with the deepest ties to North Carolina, having been born in Limbo Town by former residents of the original Roanoke Colony. Not really considering it a homecoming of any kind, Klarion none the less opts to join the team along with his familiar Teekl, all but forcing his way on. Neither truly good or bad, Klarion's continued membership really depends on his whim, which could change any second. Still, he's potentially a powerful ally, despite what Carol's ulcer is telling her.

    HACKER
Look...you have no idea what Jack Marshall is doing here. I have no idea what Jack Marshall is doing here. Jack Marshall has no idea what Jack Marshall is doing here. Still, he was on some kind of government list from his involvement with Sarge Steel and, being the only current resident of North Carolina, he finds himself drafted for the team, his handle mistaken as a codename. Now, a normal guy with some computer skills finds himself surrounded by a potential alien spinach addict, a devious Puritan child who talks to his cat, and an underwater monster with tendrils for one arm. At least the leader of the team seems normal...but isn't she a supervillain?

Man, DC has crap for Samoan characters. My leader’s the only one they have listed as being from there.

When building the American Samoa Initiative team I figure they’re gonna have to outsource.

I just wanted to have some fun w. it so…:

    AFTERTHOUGHT
He combines enhanced physical stats and excellent MA skills w. a quantum window to a reality five seconds ahead of ours into a deadly fighting style. He’s a merc, so this Initiative gig is all about the money.

    FLASHBACK
By saying the word "flashback" Sara Quinones can rewind time by three seconds. She’s second in command.

    FAST FORWARD
Archer Braun has psychic abilities allowing him to read his opponents' minds when in battle. He’s an excellent gunman.

    COLONEL FUTURE
This goody two shoes can see the farthest into the future of anyone on the team, but not w. pinpoint accuracy. He has a lot of advanced tech at his disposal.

    NEGATIVE MAN
An ex-Doom Patrol member, Ted Bruder can see sixty seconds into the future. He has a crappy attitude that endears him to no one.

    DAYBREAKER
This little punk has enhanced physical stats, and a computer in his brain that can calculate the outcome of a fight a gazillion times in just a few seconds.

I just did a quick research that Salt Lake City have a good amount od Greek-Americans living in this city, and I saw Riv86672's Greek Avengers so I just made a team of Greek Heroes based in Utah

    The Six Wonders of Justice

    Wonder Woman
    - Team Leader

    Fury (Hippolyta "Lyta" Trevor)
    - Daughter of Wonder Woman from an alternate universe

    Nemesis
    - Expert on various styles of combat just by looking at them

    Silver Swan
    - Supervillain working on redemption

    Melinda Spyros
    - Team's Techie

    Harpi
    - Like Silver Swan also a supervillian working on redemption

Nice! And great use of Utah...I was wondering how someone was going to handle that one...Marvel kinda copped out by just saying there's a team of Mormons protecting the state but then never bothered to elaborate any further than that.
