Ever since the first Crisis, every universal reboot has left people stranded on the main Earth with no record of ever having existed. The government has created a community for these people in the remoter regions of Montana. But with the Initiative in place, the relocated heroes have been called into service. They are...THE FORGOTTEN HEROES!

YELLOWJACKET
Vince Harley is one of the people to have made a real go of his situation, continuing to write his crime novels under a pseudonym that won't bring attention to his hidden status. He's also managed to maintain a thriving bee community, despite Montana's harsher climate. With his call back into action, he's ready for this new world to meet the real him for the first time.

WILDFIRE
Carol Martin Vance has struggled with maintaining a low profile in this new world, especially given the fiery and bold nature of her powers. She can feel the god of fire that gave her the powers exists in this world, or at least a version of him, and every day has been a struggle of control. With the command to emerge from the shadows and finally cut loose, Wildfire is ready to explode into action.

WARLOCK THE WIZARD
Warlock the Wizard is the last of the White Magicians, something he never tires telling people about. Though definitely a defender against evil, Warlock is also used to a certain level of luxury, something the community wasn't fully able to provide to his satisfaction. He sees this opportunity as a chance to reacquire the finer things he and his raven, Hugin, have been missing. But in this new world, is he actually the last White Magician?

MENTALIA
Gifted with telepathic and telekinetic abilities via the tiara she wears, Cindy Carson has done her best to make a life for herself in this new world, but sufferers from survivor's guilt over the fact that her fellow teammates from the Sentinels, Helio and Brute, appear to have not made it over to this new reality. She wants to prove herself to her new team, but will these unresolved issues be more dangerous once amplified by her tiara's power?

GOLDEN ARROW
Another hero embracing the look and the resources of the Old West for modern times, Roger Parsons has actually enjoyed his time in Montana, the sometimes sparse terrain reminding him of his past adventures in the Southwestern US of his world...so much so that he and his horse, White Wind, have covertly gone out to eradicate some small-time crimes in the smaller surrounding towns. With the creation of the new team, the archer will do what's asked of him, but wonders if going public will bring about an end to a kind of living he's grown to truly enjoy.

THE PRANKSTER
Left over in our time from a future world where things like love, art, and humor have been outlawed, the man known only as the Prankster finds himself in a world where those things flourish, causing him to question his own previous lifestyle of anarchic rebellion. But he does see a growing need to fight for those things as time goes on, so he agrees to join the team. Plus, he really wants a shot at this villain in Metropolis who seems to have taken his monicker and schtick...

This team turned out bigger than I intended. Once I had the characters to choose from I realized I didn’t want to get rid of any of them.
Anyway, it’s kind of a Greek Avengers type team. They’ve decided to safeguard Greece and its neighboring Countries.
THE OLYMPIAN
He’s a cross between Captain America and Thor, being Greece’s National hero and empowered by the Gods. He’s a little intense but he means well.
FURY
She’s a young woman w. Godly origins and a really complicated history.
JASON
He’s Wonder Woman’s twin brother, and when he’s not hero-ing he likes spending his time out on the ocean, fishing.
NEMESIS
She’s got a Black Widow vibe going. Bio-engineered to be an assassin, she decided to use her abilities help those in need.
ANTAEUS
Like the Avengers’ Simon Williams he got his powers by scientific means, and died right after joining the JLA. Back to life now, he’s got self confidence issues, as he doesn’t want to die again.
SILVER SWAN
Vanessa Kapatelis went down a dark path after getting her powers, but she’s intent on making up for her sins. Once a friend and then enemy to Wonder Woman, Vanessa feels awkward around Jason.
MANTICORE
He’s the fourth metahuman to use the Manticore name, and his origins are a mystery, but he’s done nothing except act as a hero since he first came on the scene.
MELINDA SPYROS
Melinda’s the team’s techie, and its most normal member. She’s the one who’ll become BFFs w. the Demi goddess, the ex-assassin, and the winged warrior, getting them to dress up and hit the clubs.
Looking to instill a sense of blue-collar commonality to the people of the state, the Ohio team opts to take a name most of us can relate to, as we're technically a part of it...THE WORKFORCE!
Workforce.jpg
METAMORPHO
Rex Mason has been in the hero game for a long time, despite circumstances that would turn a lot of people towards darkness. While this innate heroism is recognized by the Initiative, so is Rex's jaded sarcasm and weariness about it all. To help sweeten the offer, they give him command of the Ohio team to put him closer to his son, Joey, who resides at the Stagg Industries HQ in Akron. Rex takes the gig but rejects being team leader.
MANHUNTER
Kate Spencer has a strong sense of justice and of defeating the criminals who would prey on those less fortunate. However, by the time she opted to join as Manhunter, most of the states with sprawling urban environments were already filled. This led to her taking a spot on the Ohio team, so she can bring down the criminal elements of Cleveland and Cincinnati...a challenge she more than welcomes.
CITIZEN STEEL
Returning to his home state, Nathanial Heywood still carries memories of the day his family was attacked by super-powered neo-Nazis. Using that rage to fuel him, Nate decides to put his powers and abilities towards making sure an attack like that can never happen again, at least not in the state his family called home.
RAMPAGE
Given that the Cuyahoga River is famous for occasionally being on fire, it was only natural for Kitty Faulkner to move to a local S.T.A.R. Labs facility to continue her work on pollution-centric science, both cleaning up what's there and preventing more from occurring. While Kitty feels a bit out of place in her new environs, her alter-ego has never felt more at home among the people, becoming something of a local celebrity even beyond the scope of the team.
BLACKWING
For the past number of years, Charlie Bullock has left most of the mainstream Bat-happenings to occur in Gotham and the surrounding areas while he carved out his own little place as a hero of Cincinnati. But now, with his presence in a greater spotlight alongside the rest of the team, he wonders if it's only a matter of time before he receives a visit from Batman, questioning his motives and the appropriation of his motif.
FIRESTORM
For some time now, the matrix that has combined Ronnie Raymond and Jason Rausch has been erratic. After a talk, the two opted to have Firestorm join the Ohio team to work alongside Metamorpho, whose own powers with elements might offer some insight into getting a better handle on their own powers restructuring inorganic matter on an atomic level. The only problem? Nobody bothered to ask Rex if he wanted to help, leading to some mismatched elemental hero antics.

I personally like them all, but I ultimately find them to be the most boring among most team line-ups. I'd rather have the non-Trinity, B-lister, and super deep-dive characters on my teams versus someone we've seen a billion times before in just about every way imaginable.
