Make your own DC team based on different concepts/other teams

Revisiting an old build, changing things up.

VIGILANTE (Texas Twister)
Though he shares a similar color scheme w. TT, Vigilante doesn’t have any powers. Still, he’s managed to get along just fine w. his keen mind, fisticuffs, riding, roping, and shooting skills. He’s going to be a solid leader, able to direct traffic, getting the other Rangers to work as a unit, and use their powers effectively to take down bad guys, limit collateral damage etc. like a cowboy Captain America.

GINNY HEX (Shooting Star)
The great-great-great-granddaughter of Jonah Hex, Jinny has a trunk full of powerful objects (like the Amulet of Isis, The Book of Souls, a Fatherbox, a Power-Torch, and even an H-Dial to name a few). She might even have some inherent powers, as her father is supposedly a divine immortal being of some kind. She’s also a damn good mechanic and a crack shot w. six shooters and lasers alike.

MAN OF BATS (Red Wolf)
The Native American warrior mixes crime fighting and social activism. A skilled physician h2h fighter tracker and detective, MoB uses the traditional weapons of his ppl (tomahawk, lance, bow, knife) upgraded w. 21st century tech. His son, Raven Red sometimes joins in on missions w. the team.

El Diablo (Night Rider)
The spirit of 19th century outlaw hero Lazarus Lane has chosen not to pass into the great beyond, even after passing his fiery curse onto Chato Santana. As a spirit, Lane has many supernatural powers, and still commands and controls fire via his weapons, while riding a ghostly black steed.

MAMMOTH (Armadillo)
Perennial superhero punching bag Mammoth is hiding out in the New Mexico desert, Incredible Hulk style, when The Rangers find him. The team realizes Mammoth doesn’t want to fight, and could actually use their help. He won’t say why he’s not w. his sister, but agrees to turn over new leaf, stick w. The Rangers, and act as their muscle.

AIRWAVE (Living Lightning)
Able to transmute himself into radio waves (of course), microwaves, electricity, cosmic energy and different forms of radiation, AW is deceptively powerful. The second generation hero’s based in Texas, and related to Hal Jordan. I’d love to see a crossover w. The GL Corps, as this team in space would be so odd. AW’s costume is based off of Black Vulcan, which isn’t pertinent, but is a pretty cool but of trivia.

AQUAGIRL (Firebird)
Since El Diablo has fiery abilities, I did a 180 and went w. someone who identifies w. water as my Firebird stand in. At first glance Lorena Marquez seems like a fish out of water on a team like this. Not so. While at her peak in the sea, on land she’s still super strong, invulnerable, and incredibly fast. Also, the telepathic powers she showed in the “Titans Tomorrow” alt. future have started to kick in, and someone w. TP is always good to have on a team.

STARMAN (Fifty One)
While he’s not an alien like Fifty One, Will Payton’s powers come from being struck by an energy beam containing the essence of the alien Starman, Prince Gavyn, and he’s spent a lot of time in space. A powerful flying brick/energy user, the Arizona native’s back on Earth now, and is glad to join The Rangers.

Global Guardians – Headquartered in France, Liaison, Catherine Cobert.

• Lionheart – England. Sir Richard Plante. Supposedly, a descendant of Richard Lionheart. Nominal leader. Not very well accepted, nor good at His job. Rich, entitled. Bought his powers (the armor) and his place on the team. Eventually turns against them. Lionheart armor grants him a degree of protection against damage, enhanced strength, flight and some high-tech medieval weapons, such as a laser sword.
• Booster Gold – Canada. Michael Carter. 2nd in command. The one the others listen to. Future tech suit grants him flight, energy blasts, force-field and enhanced strength. Plus, always has his trustworthy flying droid, Skeets, with him. Eventually, having met his older, other time-line self, and time-travelled a bit himself, figures out the truth about Captain Atom.
• August General in Iron – China. Great strategist. Strength, invulnerability, power lance and, above all, wisdom.
• Vixen – Zambesi (fictional African nation). Mari Jiwe McCabe. Healed by her animal avatars.
• Dr. Prism – Japan. Kimiyo Hoshi. Astrophysicist. Full control of the Light spectrum. A genius, but a bit of bitch.
• Firehawk - France. Lorraine Reily. The French Firestorm. Flight, fire-manipulation and intangibility.
• Red Star – Russia. Leonid Kovar. Superman level strength and durability. Loyal and courageous. Engineer and Biochemist.
• Tasmanian Devil – Australia. Hugh Dawkins. Great speed, strength and bestiality. Can increase his size. Fun loving and gay.
• Captain Atom – U.S.A. Col. Cameron Scott (a.k.a. Nathaniel Adam). Field tactician. Team’s powerhouse. Alongside Booster, shares the defacto command of the team. An accidental merger with a temporal duplicate from another time-line (in reality the Captain Atom that vanished into the time-stream at the end of Justice League Generation Lost) stabilizes Adam’s energy form and powers but also changes quite a bit his personality. A former test pilot, Nate now exhibits skills and knowledge that only someone with vast combat experience and a familiarity with Black Ops would have, something that there is no record of either Nathaniel Adam or Cameron Scott having. He also has remarkable insight into the personalities and motivations of people he has no record of ever having met. Captain Atom is now more powerful than ever, with incredible super-human strength, a seemingly impregnable metallic outer-shell, the ability to absorb and discharge unlimited energy and radiation (which he can put to various use), super-speed flight, and the capacity of entering and leaving the quantum field at will, which allows him to cross great distances in the blink of an eye (minus the undesired side-effect of time leaps).

The Global Guardians are brought together under their new liaison Catherine Cobert, when a wave of zombies begins to cross Europe, destroying everything in its path. At first, recently joined with an other-dimensional version of himself, Captain Atom, the US representative, is not available, however he does join the team before the end of the mission, showing great tactical skill. Breakdown and his cronies, a couple of new ones, comes back for a rematch. When Perraxxus returns to kidnap the former members of the JLI (Booster, Vixen, AGI, Godiva and a captured in space Guy Gardner. He is unable to locate Fire and Ice, who are with the Primal Force team.), to use them against the Vanguard a group of super-powered protectors from another planet he is interested in mining, Lionheart decides not to go to his colleagues’ rescue, and is kicked out of the team by CA, Red Star, Firehawk, Dr Prism and the Tasmanian Devil, who, with the aid of the Batman, soar into space to save their teammates. Upon returning home, Godiva is invited to join the team and the GG find that Lionheart has assembled a new group of disfranchised international heroes, who will go to the extreme to protect Earth, and only Earth, the Extremists, consisting, among others, of Satlnoivolk (Steel Wolf) of Russia (Long lived Russian super-operative with enhanced strength, speed and endurance), B’wana Beast of Kenya (mercenary, who later becomes Tracer), Sunburst of Japan (a stuntman turned actor/celebrity with heat and light induced powers). Little Mermaid from Denmark (a teenage mermaid dazzled by the prospect of fame), Ice Maiden of Norway (an envious scientist who thinks Ice stole her thunder), The Cambodian-American O.M.A.C (Kevin Kho, trapped in the highly powerful, yet outside controllable, engine of destruction One Machine Attack Construct) and Dreamslayer (an other-dimensional sorcerer). The team also has to prepare for the coming of Over Master and his Cadre.

ORION
Exiled to Earth for reasons he’s not willing to share (and really, who’s gonna push him on it), Orion meanders around for a bit before deciding to settle in Pittsburgh. And yes, it’s because parts of it remind him of Apokolips.

NORTHWIND
His ppl having relocated to caverns in the Laurel Highlands, the King of the Feitherans was an early recruit of Orion’s. A strong leader and fierce fighter, he’s someone Orion instantly respects, and is sure will watch his back when needed.

NEMESIS
Genetically engineered to be more than human, Nemesis specializes in assassination but is just as effective on an open battlefield. She reminds Orion of certain Female Furies he was most fond of.

ICICLE II
A family man, the young elemental has a clear vision of what he fights for. He uses his powers well, and under Orion’s tutelage, he’ll get much better.

HOT PURUIT
The speedster is actually quite eager to distance himself from the epicenter of his ppl on Earth, the twin cities of Central and Keystone. Orion has come to understsnd the advantages speedsters present in battle and so brings Hot Pursuit under his command.

A DC Comics Version of the Seventies cartoon. Three young superheroes discover a really good looking caveman and when he wakes up they help him adjust to life in the 21st century. How? By traveling the country, having crazy adventures, and kicking butt of course!

There will however, be an overarching villain to deal with that will, in hindsight, connect many of the gang’s adventures. He’ll start out behind the scenes but eventually be revealed as…Vandal Savage (boo, hiss)! Seems the Immortal Caveman was part of The Blood Tribe, who was mortal enemies w. Anthro’s Bear Tribe back in pre-history, and well, Vandal holds a grudge.
