IIRC, the Iron Man in West Coast Avengers was Rhodey.
Around the same time Stewart was subbing for Hal (before they started really co-existing).
While DC doesn’t have a lot of armored heroes (Rocket Red was the only one I could think of), there are some similarities in Iron Man and Green Lantern in that they’re both normal people that gain incredible powers from a device.
If you think Rocket Red would be a better choice, I’ll go with him (him being Dmitri, of course, and not the other one).
Wonder Man and Animal-Man were more Hollywood focused.
Tigra and Starfire are sexpots during the time. I think they both outgrew it, though.
And Thing and Metamorpho tend to think of themselves as monsters.

Charlie’s Angels
Pick any two of them and Jaclyn Smith.
Jonni Thunder (no Thunderbolt)
Selina Kyle

If there able to since it was a Wildstorm property, I'd make use of Planetary. Focus hard on the archaeology bit, would've been perfect for trying to answer questions that are floating around in universe
I would make a Batman special ops type of team with the popular heroes from the JLA cartoon.
Batman: would primarly be the straight man in the batcave with the satellites and tech gear running the operation and giving orders.
Green Arrow & Black Canary: would be the leaders of the special ops ground team, leading the charge to take out the villians, or complete the mission they were assigned to.
The Question (Vic Sage) & Huntress: They would be the wildcard rebels doing things a bit reckless and unorthodox that would drive Batman up the wall.
The rest of the the team would be a revolving door of primarily non superpowered heroes who would alternate with other heroes (Nightwing, Red Arrow/Arsenal, Connor, maby Shining Knight or Vigalante.)
I would put the heads on the side of each issue like early 80's and seventies comic books, so the readers could see who would be on the team that month. That's my idea.
