A build for a possibly upcoming thread...:





I purposely didn’t think of what the team would look like as a whole until I imagined who each Leaguer would pick, since this wouldn’t be a group decision. That said...:

- This team def. doesn’t scream JLA to me.

- It skews young, like Detroit young, and we all know how that turned out.

- No Supes type powerhouse here; the team is kind of underpowered. Still, they can drop a planet on your head, so there’s that.

- Two GLs, didn’t even realize I’d done that.

- I’d play up Ya’Wara’s telepathy, as it extends to humans, and do something w. her and Beast Boy, as she's an animal empath.

- I’d feature Mogo as the team smart guy, since they’d need one. He’s ancient, so prob. knows more than has ever been revealed about pretty much all types of science.

I had an idea for the Defenders of the Earth, too. Loved that team.
Mine would be:

Mandrake = Zatara
Lothar = Dale Gunn (with some self-made high-tech gadgets)
Phantom = B'Wana Beast
Flash Gordon = Adam Strange

Nazi Aquaman’s name is actually Underwaterman and he’s from Earth 10.
He was in Grant Morrison’s Multiversity from what I read of him. A lucky find!
