    CHALLENGERS OF THE FANTASTIC
In a world where the Daxamites controlled Krypton, four college-age Kryptonians stole an experimental vessel designed for travel within the Phantom Zone in order to escape the state-mandated purges enacted by the Daxamite Government and disappeared into the Phantom Zone itself, and were believed dead when it looked as if the vessel had exploded from a core meltdown. An undetermined amount of time later, the four Kryptonians awaken on the backwater planet of Earth with fantastic new powers!

    Superman-Prime (Mr. Fantastic)

    Superboy (Human Torch)

    Cyborg-Superman (The Thing)

    Supergirl (The Invisible Woman)
    ^^^Nice edit!
I like this one (GREAT Thing!), and wanted to try my own without reusing any of your picks. Came up w. this…:

Kent Shakespeare as Mr. Fantastic because he’s (Super!) smart. How do I know he’s smart? He’s wearing glasses!

Powergirl as Invisible Woman is kind of ironic really, cuz once you look at P.G. you can’t take your eyes off her.

Superboy as Human Torch wasn’t easy, cuz you took the best one! Still, New 52 Superboy’s def. a hot head. Plus he’s got all that glowy stuff coming off him which is kinda like flames.

Bizarro as Ben Grimm works for me, this guy is made for clobberin’!

Was watching some old eps of Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and put together a JSA team while doing so.

    MISTER TERRIFIC (Iron Man)
He doesn’t wear armor but Michael Holt is a billionaire tech genius, and his T-Spheres would make Tony Stark jealous. He’s the man who’s good at everything he does, and he’s taken on the challenge of rebooting the JSA after a huge membership turnover.

    MAGOG (Thor)
Marine Lance Corporal David Reid, a descendent of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, is human but projects a very godlike demeanor. He doesn’t have a Hammer but he has a Lance that he uses to channel the cosmic level energy in his body. That energy also makes him superhumanly strong and invulnerable.

    CAPTAIN TRIUMPH (Captain America)
Lance Gallant awoke in the present after nearly 80 years in a magical limbo, and the JSA is the closest thing he has to the time period he remembers. The clean cut hero houses his dead twin brother’s soul and is “twice as strong as any one strong man”. Also twice as fast and durable. He can fly, turn invisible, and even see and talk to the dead, which comes in handy, as he can (usually) use that to calm down his volatile teammate Solomon Grundy.

    ATOM SMASHER (Giant Man)
Like Hank Pym, Al Rothstein’s had a couple of different powersets and codenames, along w. emotional issues and ppl questioning his ability to be a hero. Also like Hank Pym, Al’s powered through all his issues and proven his doubters wrong.

    DOLL WOMAN (Wasp)
Earth-10, where the Nazis won WWII, no longer exists, and Martha Roberts and her Freedom Fighter teammates were shunted over to the main DCU to live brand new lives. In true Janet Van Dyne fashion, Martha is super upbeat and loves to have fun. She has a silly seeming powerset and yet routinely runs circles around the bad guys because she’s just that good.

    SOLOMON GRUNDY (The Hulk)
The Hulking Grundy showed up at the JSA’s recruitment drive, to take the place of his “best ever enemy” Alan Scott (who along w. many other Longtime JSAers, had recently left the team), and refused to take no for an answer. None of the others felt like trying to correct his Grundy logic, for fear of getting hit in the face.

This is the first team in a long time that I can say. . . I love this. I really love what you've done here and I think its brilliant.

Its really interesting to see people use Mr. Terrific in a variety of roles like this. He's definitely getting some spotlight but I'm a big fan of Captain Triumph as well.
My priority is enjoying and supporting stories of timeless heroism and conflict.
    Everything else is irrelevant.

Of the four new Detroit Leaguers, Vixen was the breakout star so I’m not using her. Instead, Citizen Steel, Vibe (who’s the team leader), and Gypsy are back, along w. four new heroes to round things out.

My picks aren’t new really, but they’re obscure.
They were all created between 1996-2005, and none of them have appeared in more than 28 issues in all this time. I used Changeling, Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire as start point when looking for these characters to help narrow things down.

    MONSTER GIRL (Changeling)
M.G. is like Changeling in that she’s a shapeshifter, of the monster-y variety instead of animals though. She can also mimic anyone she’s ever met which comes in handy. Personality wise she’s kinda shady, often causing drama for her own amusement.

    STRIKER Z (Cyborg)
Evokes Cyborg only because he has a tech based powerset. Z is a living bio-energy battery, and his body powers his flight suit and gadgets which include his Dazzle Strobe, Photonic Shiv, Sonic Beamer, Striker Plates, and Omega Cannon (his last ditch weapon which drains all his energy in one shot). An ex-Hong Kong stuntman Z can drive damn near anything, is a licensed pilot, and an above average martial artist.

    MISTY KILGORE (Raven)
Raven-ish as she’s a magic user. Misty’s an other dimensional Princess now living on Earth in exile. She apprenticed w. Zatanna for a while and can bust out the occasional backwards speaking spell. She has an enchanted die which she’s way better at using though, for various feats. The other die was last seen w. Klarion the Witch Boy, who Misty really does not like.

    KALIBER (Starfire)
Like Starfire, Kaliber is an alien warrior. A native of Quard, Kaliber is a talented blacksmith and weapons user. He’s stronger than the average Quardian and can increase his size for short periods while in battle. Having been permanently blinded, Kaliber now has cybernetic eyes which let him see in all spectrums, and give him telescopic/microscopic capabilities.

Inspired by Riv8662's The New Detroit League. I am also using Wolfman/Perez era template for the Titans with a little bit of both Geoff Johns' TT run and the DCAMU version with Starfire, Cyborg, and Raven as mentors to the four young heroes set in the Injustice Universe.

    GridArt_20230113_180746515.jpg

    Starfire

Koriand'r serves as one-third of the mental and leader of the Titans. She decided to bring back the Titans and act as both a leader and mentor to the young heroes especially Damian because deep down she knows that he did not mean to kill him and Dick would love that if he can get Damian to the side of good again. She brings back her two close friends, Victor and Raven, and told them what would Garfield think if he saw them being puppets and on the brink of losing their humanity.

    Cyborg

Victor joins Kori not only to reform the Titans but to repent of all the crimes he did as a member of Superman's Regime. He still missed Dick and Garfield but now it seems that he got new friends in Damian, Kara, Jaime, and Jason.

    Raven

No longer a servant of her father and wanted to be redeemed from everything she did as both a member of The Regime and harbinger of Trigon. Raven returns to the Titans so no one would ever go to the Dark side ever again. Kori as her best friend helps her in process of healing and empathy of accepting Garfield's death because she knows what it likes to lose someone you love.

    Nightwing (Dick Grayson)

Wanting to preserve Dick's legacy he becomes Nightwing again. Starfire was at first reluctant to bring the killer of her former lover but she knew deep down inside that it was not his fault and Dick wanted to forgive Damian. Raven acts as sort of a mentor figure to Damian because of their similar upbringing and destinies and believe that they could be in the side of angels rather than embracing themselves as demons. *EDIT*

    Supergirl (Donna Troy)

For the first time, Kori will teach another outworld about earth's culture and she took Kara under her wing. Kara Zor-El knows the symbol she wears stands for hope and she wants to show everyone in the world that hope still exists and that she will act as the new paragon of truth, justice, and a better tomorrow. Kara still believes that there's hope in Damian.

    Blue Beetle (Beast Boy)

Jaimie is the best friend of Firestorm and a mentee/'pupil' of Cyborg. He is so excited that he is in Titans but his scarab told him to tone down his fanboyism and warns him of the former Regime members in case they decided to betray the team. When Victor sees both Jaimie and Jason it reminds him so much of both him and Garfield.

    Firestorm (Kid Flash)

Jason is the best friend of Blue Beetle and the conduit of the Firestorm Matrix. Unlike Jaimie and Kara, Firestorm does not fully trust Damian, Cyborg, and Raven but he decides to give them a chance by he's keeping an eye on them as he did with his first encounter with Supergirl by surprising her with kryptonite he secretly made specific materials for the former regime members if they ever went rogue again. *EDIT*

    Metaforce

Earth is in the crosshairs of the Dominators and the H'San Natall, two warring alien species who see humanity as a means to victory in their very long conflict.

Metahumans: Three teens who were abducted by the Dominators. The Dominators had heard rumors of humans having a metagene and chose these three teens as the subjects of an experiment to learn more about it and weaponize them as soldiers against their enemies.

Tye Longshadow: An Apache teenager from the United States of America. Tye was fleeing home to get away from his mother's abusive boyfriend when he was abducted. He has the ability to manifest a spectral entity around or separately from himself and can even merge with it to unlock a more powerful form.

Asami Koizumi: A Japanese orphan from Osaka. She had snuck out of her foster home to attend a skateboarding competition when she was abducted. Her metagene granted her the power to generate concentric plasma bursts. She can fire these at enemies or use them to propel herself through the air.

Enrique Dorado: An Argentinian boy of Qom and Mapuche descent with an interest in physics and engineering. Enrique gained the power of teleport himself and anything he is in physical contact with from the Dominators' experiments.

H'San Natall hybrids: These are the children of women who were abducted by the H'San Natall and experimented on so they could give birth to hybrid super soldiers.

Isaiah Gibe: A boy from Tanzania who is interested in medicine and biology. He can control fire and heat.

Antonia Monetti: An Italian girl with the power to create silver energy constructs connected to dark matter.

    Aliens

The Wonder Twins: Twin siblings from the planet Exxor. They possess the rare ability to shapeshift and have been chased by the H'San Natall.

Kole: An alien with crystal powers who has a personal stake in defeating the Dominators.

They do. Though their adventures start out Earth-bound. The Wonder Twins join the group and eventually they head out into space where they meet Kole.

We’ve had Titans East and Titans West. This is Canada’s Titans North.

    KORYAK
Super strong, fast, and invulnerable, team leader Koryak (Aquaman’s illegitimate son) was raised on land as part of his mother’s Inuit tribe and prefers it to water. He can function quite well beneath the sea though, and is hydrokinetic.

    FROSTBITE
Several hundred years old, for the Canadian Snow Elf that translates to his early twenties. He has ice powers like all his ppl, though he uses them better than most, owing to his superhero activities.

    SPARX
Sparx is a New Blood metahuman able to control electrical fields and become living electricity. She’s a member of Canada’s metagene dominant Force family, though she prefers to go her own way, being very independent.

    EMPTY VEE
After exposure to a strange alien meteorite, Vee was turned permanently invisible. She has to concentrate to be seen. She can also become intangible, which she can turn on and off at will, thankfully.

    EQUINOX
The young woman is spiritually empowered by the Midayo, embodiment of the seven pillars of Cree life, to channel a large variety of superpowers, which change depending on the season.

Threw together a Nightwing led JLA, as it’s being discussed in the DC forum right now.

    • Shazam and J'onn J'onzz are two guys who Superman himself admits could take him on any given day, and Nightwing knows that.

    • With Mr. Terrific and The Atom, Nightwing has two of the smartest ppl on the planet on his team. Mr. Terrific’s entire deal is being great at everything he does, and being able to go subatomic makes The Atom the ultimate big picture guy,

    • No offense to Wonder Woman, but Nightwing KNOWS Donna Troy. They’ve grown up together and fought across time and space together. In terms of teamwork they can damn near read each other’s minds.

    • In The Tornado Twins Nightwing has not one but two speedsters in his corner. Wally West has asked Nightwing to take the volatile siblings and do what he does best as a team leader, help them reach their full potential.

    • Zatanna is, quite simply, one of the most accomplished magic users on the planet. She can be a game changer w. just a few words. The fact that she’s a veteran Leaguer and a total team player just gives Nightwing that much more to work with.
