If anything since Nightwing was mentored by Clark and Bruce, especially since Clark given him the inspiration. Wouldn't we go with it's a mash up with Metropolis and Gotham

That's what bludhevan should be. It should reflect who nightwing is a mix of batman and superman, both dark and light and what tip of city reflects that more than one with dark night sky's lit up with neon lights. A city the screams dick grayson, fun, sexy, lively and bright on the outside with some darkness and damage on the inside.
No city's in the should be more darker than and more hopeful than metropolis. As for nightwing no city should be more FUN than bludhevan.
Bludhevan should be full of casinos, nightclubs, resorts and a famous beach. Bludhevan should be the DCU's place to be/go for entertainment.
I agreed. My idea was to reflect certain part is Bludhhaven is advance in many ways. The city is well kept. But a lot of the reason is that criminals give money to make themselves look respectful. They make sure the city looks nice to make sure no one turns way. The criminals do that and they get to keep a cut of the money that gets brought in.
It should be better, and any time it even sort of becomes better they shouldn't let the next guys that come in turn it right back into a bland boring city with no identity or personality.
Not Gotham for starts
Other than that I don't know yet
Seeley's Vegas idea is good. It doesn't match the name, but the name was created when the city first created as Gotham's evil sister that's even darker than Gotham, supposedly
...Why though? Why is the city's concept Darker Than Gotham?
can't be just because it's the 90s
Oh wait, duh, it's because of Dick's part of the Batman family
There was no need for him to differentiate himself because he's just part of a bigger IP, recently bought in from Titans editorial. They want to integrate him, not differentiate him.

It should be Vegas meets New Orleans. Honestly you could leave the New Orleans out of it; I'm just biased. The place to be for entertainment of all types. Casinos, sure, but also a theater district to second only to broadway, Amusement parks known nationwide, maybe even film studios a bit like hollywood.
The feel of the city, the twilight stuff, that can be a mix of Batman and Superman, but the blood and bones of the city should come from Dick himself, and that means showbusiness and mobsters.
Agreed. This is the reason the City should look fun and happy. It's not grim and dark.

A location wherein stories take place as written by writers.
“To the future or to the past. To a time when thought is free, when men are different from one another and do not live alone - to a time when truth exists and what is done cannot be undone: from the age of uniformity, from the age of solitude, from the age of Big Brother, from the age of doublethink - greetings!" - Winston Smith
Irrespective of how it looks I want it to be worse then Gotham. Its Gotham with no vigilantes, with a police force thats not semi-corrupt but entirely so. Where a dude gets murdered in the street in broad daylight and no one reacts.
Bludhaven SHOULD start out worse than Gotham, but gradually improve thanks to Nightwing's influence. It would prove that Dick's surpassed Bruce once and for all if his city had actual long lasting improvement thanks to his efforts, unlike Gotham which(fairly or unfairly)is depicted as getting worse despite Bruce's best efforts.
