I would be very, very surprised if they go with traditional 2D animation.

In any case, nobody but Chuck Jones has ever done anything worthwhile with Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner.

Why? I mean, if it was just an animated movie then yes I would expect it to be 3D in this environment, but if they're doing the animation and live action combo 2D makes more sense to me.
