I'd go with Roger Stern. I loved his take of the team in the Invaders arc in the short lived Marvel Universe. As for artist. Tough choice. Someone that can give a modern vibe to a classic look. Sort of what Jerry Ordway did with the All-Star Squadron in the 80's.

Well, we've already seen Ordway draw the Invaders a few years ago in the one-shot Captain America & the Invaders: Bahamas Triangle.

Well, as much as I like him, I wasn't exactly sugesting Ordway per say. Merely someone able to do for the Invaders what he did for the All-Star Squadron back in the 80's.
