But now my question (and I don't know how much the answer may be determined in part by how old people who vote are): When do you prefer your Invaders adventures to take place?

I personally prefer adventures set during World War II, but I admit I'm older and may have more appreciation for that time because my father was in the army back then. Are people who are younger maybe not really interested in those times?

I find 'Invaders' to be a good name for a super hero team made up of members of the Inhuman race, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In agreement with you about Avengers #71 (December, 1969). A definite classic, and an all-time favorite (XD)

Well, since K7P5V called up a response from 2014, I guess maybe I should fill in the other refererence for the benefit of anybody who may not be familiar with it:

I'd still always love to see the Invaders in the modern era, but I can't deny they're sort of out of place. They'd just be a mini-Avengers. I do love it when the old Invaders get together to face some old foe from their past, like U-Man or RedSkull, but unless they become some sort of covert, special ops team, they just sort of get lost in the sea of modern super teams.

Good point. The Invaders are Marvel's closest analogy to DC's JSA. Cap and Namor have considerable present day adventures so they aren't buried in their Golden Age past, but Torch is different in that he doesn't have that present day setting. It's very possible to have a Cap/Subby story without WW2, but once OG Torch gets involved the history seems to be all encompassing.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?

I really did like the New Invaders book. I think it had a nice mix of original and legacy characters.

IMHO, the art was that book's biggest problem.

How about they get time tossed and end up
Fighting against the Badoon. It’d be a cool cross over with The original Guardians of The Galaxy.

get Mark Waid or Christopher Priest to write a World War II based book about the group. Get a top notch artist.
