I hope season 2 gives us Zoltan Chivay. I always liked the back and forth between Zoltan and Dandelion and Geralt.

I've liked it so far. The acting has been fairly good all around, the adaptation of the stories has been done well, and I think the overall tone has been appropriate. I'll definitely watch the next season.

Anyhow, there are a few minor things I have issues with but none which affect my enjoyment of the series in any significant way:

-They need to increase the effects budget, as others have said there are scenes/effects that look cheap
-Ditch the current Nilfgaard armor (it looks stupid)
-Anna Shaffer is 27, why does her Triss look like she's in her late 30's or early 40's?

There are many good things about the streaming revolution. Regular two-year waits between seasons is not one of them.

Tbf, Covid had a hand in a lot of delays this time. They were getting better and then the panini hit.

COVID really screwed things up the last 2 years.

Just finished watching. Second season was definitely better than the first. My only issue is that for someone that already read the books and played the video games, the series moves so slowly. This show literally could go for like 10-15 seasons given all the content they still have yet to explore and they already have a prequel series in the works.

A lot of Witcher stories are twisted versions of Fairy tales. First episode was Snow White, Last Wish was Alladin, The Law of Surprise is basically a more mild version of Rumplestillskin....

I get it, just wish there was more action. Like the first season ep had. I'll still give it a chance.
