I suspect it’s mostly a reshoot, but we won’t really know for certain until we see Snyder’s cut.

Zack Snyder on a podcast (via Bleeding Cool):

"I don't think anything is going to happen right away, but Jim and I talked about it quite a bit. And talked a lot about maybe doing a book, or a comic book down the road to kind of finish this. We haven't locked anything yet."

"I would love to do a comic book, in the post-apocalyptic Knightmare world, the world has fallen, the ragtag team that's left alive trying to put it back."

"Inside of that story, we would also do that story of Joker killing Robin. The Joker is somehow involved in the stealing of the Mother Box and using it to create the treadmill; Cyborg is going to do the math, this is what we're going to have to do to jump back in time and warn Bruce correctly. A lot of the conflict would be Bruce reliving the death of Robin and what went into that."

"That would be a fun comic, Even just the death of Robin in that world would make a nice little one-off."

Just what DC needs more dark alternate universe stories. Like that has not been the prime focus of Dc for the last 5 years.

I think a lot of the scenes where characters are interacting in "Big Room" are Whedon reshoots.

That makes sense since a lot of the "comedic infighting" also happens in that setting.

Crazy, huge chunks of the movie take place there.

Exactly. Snyder's lighting is very specific and none of those scenes in "Big Room" match up aesthetically.

It's nuts just how much of the theatrical release is reshoots of characters delivering exposition and quips in big non descript rooms.

Yet another Zack Snyder interview with Grace Randolph(how does she keep scoring one of these?) where he breaks down the VFX his cut compared to the theatrical cut.

I'm hoping JL does well enough that it gets a sequel or whatever but, more importantly, Affleck can make his BATMAN movie the way he wanted to. An R rated BATMAN in the vein of THE TOWN.

Gimme that on HBOMax, ya cowards.
