Once again we have a Krakoa/DoX critic condemning it for things that don't actually happen in the book or in any of the books, and are directly refuted by what is actually on the page. It's also not like they established a law about not killing humans and they certainly haven't showcased the Marauders taking pains not to kill people.

Christian predates a lot of other queer characters, at least as an openly gay man. This isn't like when Guggenheim created a second gay Pyro

And I think there is a tragic aspect to his coming out that none of the others had to deal with, his father could not deal with it and had him committed against his will.
This was worse than conversion therapy, all of his autonomy was stripped away from him and there was no end in sight.
He suffered needlessly for years because his father, a cis straight white male had all the power in the world

But he's free now, and he's thriving. And that coincides with Krakoa, where mutants who have spent their whole lives suffering under human institutions now have a new home and new lives.

Isn't using an old almost forgotten character, like Christian Frost, exactly what we were excited about the Hickman era? That the X-office would create less new characters, and instead dig into back issues and develop established characters who already exist.

THIS! The fact that Mama, Christian, Cordelia, and Adrienne had Winston as a father that despite their wealth had a terrible childhood. Both Mama and Christian were sent to a mental asylum and only heaven knows what hell Adrienne and Cordelia endured under Winston's control. Christian isn't liked or loved simply due to him being another gay. Many fans appreciate him for being the only sibling that Mama truly loved and loved her back and the years of torture he had to overcome
