Decent preview. Not a whole lot of content though... I guess it's kind of cute how they have 3 duos there with like matching outfits and all of that. We'll have to see how it goes with Lucas in Hellfire now, he does NOT seem comfortable and as others pointed out, Hellfire Corp. existed in his XSE timeline so he isn't really a big fan overall.

Kate's knuckle tattoos really do serve as a constant reminder of her character transformation... but I'm sure people will write it off as "she was bored" lol. Sure. That's all it is. Like her shades a bit too although it does sort of feel a bit "trying too hard to be a badass schemer".

Shinobi is being such a good boy though so far. He really is. And honestly these squabbles feel petty/meaningless. Let's find out what happens once those rugrats enter the scene I guess.

I'm loving the amount of ATTITUDE and CHARISMA this title has lol you can tell Duggan is really having fun writing this book.

Echoed again. When this comic was first announced I knew it was going to be trash because I was sick to death of Kitty Pryde, she'd been a steaming pile of garbage at least since Aaron and got worse during Gold and AoX.

I was wrong, she's been great and this has been one of the best books (still cringing over the hellfire brats though). Kate Pryde has been better than just about every single DoX character.

He is GAY! A pretty guy who is still a blank state, having only a few appearances after his debut. And Duggan is a great writer so maybe he can turn Christian into a very interesting X character.

Shaw and Emma's business models are based on the flower resource primarily, and mutants-as-resources secondary. Kitty's is primarily mutants-as-resources --in her pitch, she's liberating mutant citizens of Krakoa, but in reality, she's depriving sovereign states of their native mutant citizens.

All the mutants that they have freed until now were detained without having done nothing except being mutant, being sent to prison camps or threatened to being killed or maimed. Doesn’t sound like their nations consider them “resources”. I guess you are okay with children soldiers, or people being persecuted by their own nations because of their race or religion until it’s their nations doing it? If these people were able to free their country, as it happens in real life, democratic countries would take them in as political refugees, not send them back to their countries, that’s what international laws work. They are freeing people that would end up killed or exploited, period.

This is the most I've enjoyed Kate since probably early Excalibur.

He hasn't done a lot because he hasn't been used a lot. I'm interested in seeing what Duggan does with him because I think he has great storytelling potential. There's the familial connection to Emma, and I want to see how he interacts with Bobby, who helped him out and Shinobi, who he has a good deal in common with. He also has a really sympathetic backstory and history with mental illness that could be explored, as well as a powerset that could use some clarification.
