Not going to lie, Action's star has faded of late and I'm not a fan of JRJR which certainly isn't helping.

I really dislike that Daily Planet Twitter feed. Way too on the nose.

While I enjoy it too, it's missing something. The strongest social media teams hire people with some personality to run them, you'll usually see some retweets of fans or friendly organizations (sharing a byline with the Gotham Gazette?). I think that's what's lacking to make me love them instead of just liking them.

Not saying they need memes or something, but I expect they'd retweet some reactions to big stories they broke, like people having their mind blown about Clark's identity or some such. But yeah, also a meme or cross promotion for Jimmy when it benefits the DP.

I'm overthinking it, but it's fun!

Oh wow, Superlad had a theory about the new mayor that gets straight up confirmed in this issue I think.

Was surprised by how much I enjoyed this issue.

Joined 1984? Shouldn't that be something like 20 years later? No Twitter in the 1980s!

Ugh, how much longer is Romita on this book? I've liked his work elsewhere in the past but this is just hideous and is really dragging down a book that I've loved up until now.

he is going to be on the book till at least spring sadly, but at least this issue didn't look so bad.

Yeah Romita Jr.’s art actually wasn’t too bad here. Not quite as good as it was in Year One but still almost on par with his ASM work I’d say, terrible cover aside. Melody Moore taking over as mayor of Metropolis would honestly be something I’d be on board with, we could use a known figure as Metropolis’ mayor. Local Metropolis politics tends to get sporadic focus at best so the mayor being a character Bendis has built up might help with that.
