Err, the X-Men Red costume is not something I would classify as fashionable. It's like practical battle gear, probably more fitting than most superhero costumes as it has armor and everything, but it's not ~a lewk~ or anything lmao.

I think people were saying Jean's clothes in Red were fashionable, not the costume. Asrar when he was drawing put Jean in a number of different outfits

Jean needs a new and better outfit. Jean needs more visibility. Jean needs some panel time with Cable and Rachel. Jean needs an adventure with Storm. Jean needs another meaningful relationship which has nothing to do with Scott.

I suppose one could say this is my wishlist!!

90s costume isn't really silly and creativity in this current X-Men era has degraded because they chose regression over something new for most characters.

Xmen Red #1 had so many classy outfits and looks, I fell in love.
Xmen Red also had some nice looks, like the Phoenix t-shirt

I agree. Jean's red and blue costume design has been preceded with quite a number of costumes starting with the 90s. I think that's one of the reasons I never had much affinity for Asrar's design.

the best developed relationship is Jean and Logan on dawn of X.

Rachel and Cable have been a waste, they live on same house and we still don't see a relationship with them.
Storm and Jean rarely gets moments and adventures.

I think Jean needs more relationships besides the men Logan/Scott on her life
