I'd like to see Jean's psychometry make a return. We saw it in Extermination and Rachel just used it in X-Factor, but it's something Jean can do that's rarely been seen - and as we saw with Adrienne Frost in Gen X, it could be REALLY powerful.

This reminds me of some top-level feat that Moondragon would do--she often was shown in telepathic meditation. I am glad we see Jean able and knowledgable to also do it and it seems quite powerful feat.

I always wondered if Maddie Pryor is a Jean clone how is she always or most times shown doing some sorcery/magic yet Jean always uses TK or telepathy..Like do Maddie's powers come from magic sources anyway while Jean's are mutant?

Yes Madelyne is a clone. That is literally what defines her as her backstory was explicitly detailed and has not been retconned. She has magic bc of the demonic deal she did with N'astirah to become the Goblyn Queen. That activated her X-gene and enhanced her powers in addition to granting her access to sorcery

I remember this weird story from early 90s Excalibur, Kitty and some version of 60s Marvel Girl but also a sorcerer...her TK is less developed than adult Jean, so she can't grab Kitty's intangible form, but she quickly improvises by grabbing the air surrounding Kitty

Agree. Even this alternate story Jean had a fair costume, fierce determination and good powers.
