2019 was not a good year for Jean but I hope 2020 is better especially now that there is a solid plan in place for her and she wont be spending most of it in filler land. Im more optimistic since Percy has her as he proved that he has a solid voice on her in the latter months of the year

Jean's 2020 is definitely gonna depend on Percy. Seems like he does have at least a slightly more than passing interest in her at least, so I wouldn't be pessimistic. I can't say for certain that there will be a lot of big moments for her, but I think he'll give her at least a couple of memorable moments this year..

Remember he said Jean is going to "**** **** up". That's about all you can hope for a writer to say about your fave in an action adventure comic. I think she is in good hands as far as her main book goes.

My first encounter with Jean was also my first X-Men comic: Uncanny #303. I've loved both ever since.

I went back issue hunting at 13 and started collecting with Uncanny #300, and what a showing for Jean!

And I just like this Revolution shot of her kicking ass! Always liked this costume.

Compassionate yet ready, willing, and able to destroy anyone who threatens those she cares for. I love Jean Grey! And all that without ever bringing the Phoenix into it.

-Losing her book
-regression into Marvel Girl
-TK downgrade and she barely uses it anymore
Though I think X Force was a bright spot for her and she has a giant size issue coming up in 2020. I'm excited for it. people love making fun of her armored look but I like it

2020 will hopefully be a new start for our favorite redhead. What are some things you'd like to see her do in the new year?

For starters I would love to see her "teach" young mutants like she did in New X-Men when the U-Men paid the school a visit.

I want to see her reconnect with some of the characters in the greater Marvel universe like Misty Knight.

It's about time we got a mother/daughter adventure and I would really like to see a Jean and Storm issue or two.

How was 2019 bad for Jean?

It wasn’t good. She spent the first 6-7 months trapped in a filler AU. Then she got that much discussed horrible writing under Hickman. Jean didn’t really have anything worth mentioning until XForce which came so late in the year. She overall regressed in terms of being a leader and the face of the X-men to her power displays. She didn’t get any character development. We also lost Teen Jean which limited her exposure
