I hope Dauterman isn't the regular artist for a book because they have given him a ton of lead time on an X-project.

He apparently prefers to do special issues and covers as opposed to interiors on a monthly.

Brett Booth recently did a sketch of Jean and it looked great.

Probably my favorite thing about him outside of his art, though I wish more artists would follow suit.

I can't wait to see how Jonathan Hickman will write Jean in this book. Fingers crossed.

I am intrigued about Cyke, Jean, and Storm in a space/Shi'ar story. It could be interesting. I wish we knew more details about the story. I wish they had went with another artist but that is for another thread.
So far I'm really enjoying X of Swords. I look forward to seeing more of Scott's plan and to see if Jean gets to do more. In Cable #5 it sounds like a team of telepaths will try to mentally infiltrate Otherworld. That could be interesting (unless it happens off panel or is just a minor thing). I would love to see Jean team up with Rachel, Xavier, and Emma to do it.

After X of Swords I'm excited for the X-force issue where Jean interrogates Omega Red (and maybe Colossus). We have a few things to look forward to in the upcoming months.

Is consensus that X-FORCE is the best of current era portrayal of Jean Grey?

    For me it is.

Honestly, I feel that Percy is one of Jean's best writers post her resurrection in 2017. Love her dialogue, and how she's utilized. Being the one tasked to restore Xavier after his death, her confrontation with Beast, her relationship with Logan, and being an overall powerhouse. Percy's X-Force has given Jean a number of really great moments.

While I liked Red I feel like Jean came off a bit too benevolent in that series. I like my Jean with an edge to her.

Been thinking about the codename Marvel Girl and I realized that if it were free the next step up should be Captain Marvel. So... I made some micro heroes.

it should be Marvel Woman, she is an adult now, not some insecure teenager.
Ommadon: “By summoning all the dark powers I will infest the spirit of man So that he uses his science and logic to destroy himself. Greed and avarice shall prevail, and those who do not hear my words shall pay the price. I'll teach man to use his machines, I'll show him what distorted science can give birth to. I'll teach him to fly like a fairy, and I'll give him the ultimate answer to all his science can ask. And the world will be free for my magic again.”
