I didn’t necessarily *love* the armor look for jean, but for a cosplay I think it’s making it a lot more fun.

Much less in number, not in complete rage and insanity, and witout a thousand queens (who have telepathic powers) trying to command and get to the king egg, the empress is also gone so not as much of a hive mind.

you are comparing putting a group of brood to sleep when their species was in a normal situation vs basicaly the entire species and hirearchy trown into an insane frenzy, even the data pages that talk about the king egg say pheramones are necessary to control the brood.

On top of the Brood being in a different situation, you have to account that Hix Jean is from the animated series reality. She's not really decent at using her powers at all and lacks confidence.

Thats what the writing would leave us to believe but Teen Jean felt more powerful than current Jean

LOL...so true although I dont think she's that bad. She hasnt fainted yet. I dont like hsi writing for her but I liked it in #8 and didnt hate it in 9.

Also maintaining a telepathic comm all the way from the Sun is cool.

Well, has any of the Omega under Hix really had any wow feats? I have not seen any, so at the moment, you can't really tell which ones are Alpha and which ones are Omega.

Most defintely Dautermann and to a lesser extent Morrison as that issue was a direct homage to a previous piece of work
