Just old board drama lol! Don't want to reignite it, but there was a user who really hated Hickman and wanted Tom Taylor to write Jean. She was known to harass people on twitter so Tom's tweet is very possibly because of her hhahahahahaha
Oh, yeah, I see now who you're talking about. She's the Jean Grey fan who was banned here lately, because of her behavior and her constant Hickman, Morrison and Percy's bashing, I suppose.
It's really sad when fans do that here. That's even sadder when they do it directly on writer's social medias. A shame.
I'm also pretty convinced the user was lying about being a girl as well lol
Ok but why are we just assuming it was them? There are lots of people who have complained about Hickman and asked for Taylor back writing Jean(or that RED was better in general or sumn). If the tweet was even really about this.
"We come into this world alone and we leave the same way. The time we spent in between - time spent alive, sharing, learning together... is all that makes life worth living." - Jean Grey
Speaking of Jean fans that no longer post here, whatever happened to Phoenixzero?
There was someone who constantly posted in the Cyclops Appreciation Thread, but it was always something negative.
You don't need to declare a character as your favorite to post in an appreciation thread, but you probably should at least like them.
But back to the art - I do like that uniform redesign for Jean. It has the vibe of the 90s period but looks much better.

My verdict is that Jean is the clear winner, with Rogue also being an improvement. Scott and Storm are decent, but not really better than what they wore in the time period. Wolverine and Gambit don't seem to have changed enough to even justify calling it a redesign - although in Gambit's case it could be the trenchcoat covering up too much. And as the clear loser, Jubilee.
These are all just opinions, though.
