Personally I would leave it off. What did you all think of Jean's viper Phoenix costume that had the mask but with grooves in it? It kind of looked like wings. It was a green costume (and only used in two issues of Wolverine) Around Wolverine 125-ish? Originally Posted by Dipter

The thing I don't like about head socks is that Jean's exposed ears stick out and look too silly. When her hair is down and covering them it looks fine.

My two faves. i actually took some notes on peoples preferences and they made sense like the dishwasher glove and the overly big mask.

It’s comparable to Wolverines classic mask...CLASSIC. ICONIC. Immediately identifiable with Marvel Girl. I remember reading in an old Comic Book encyclopedia that the mask is shaped like an “M” for Marvel. I wouldn’t change it if she’s going to wear any headgear. Originally Posted by Dipter

On the headgear appreciation note, I think I never liked the Jim Lee outfit more than when they had Jean wear the Cerebro helmet with it in an early episode of X-Men:The Animated Series
. It kind of pulled the look together.
