Yes. That's why I hated Rosenberg's toxic relation stalker break up story. That, didn't made sense.
And you're right. Jean being called Phoenix again with no reason wouldn't make sense too. So they need to write something clever about it. But I'm surely asking too much here.
Marvel Woman is no more clunky than Invisible Woman...and the entire MU is okies with Susan Storm's code name.
Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
So the X-men stories for Free Comic Book day were just revealed to be released in July. There is a Hickman story and a Tom Taylor story. I would love Tom Taylor to write Jean Grey again but I'm not getting my hopes up. Taylor had revealed months ago on twitter that his story would include other characters besides X-men. I would love to see Jean be part of a team that interacts with other Marvel heroes.
What are our hopes for X of Swords? Jean might have a part to play. JDW revealed a couple weeks ago that they made the story bigger (initially going by what was posted on amazon there was only one issue of X-force in the crossover).
Marvellous
Or she can take up the mantle of X-Man/X-Person or Captain X or Gene, X-Gene or Cerebrix or Mutant X,

I was reading one of the old threads on here about who is Marvel's Wonder Man and Sue came up a lot which surprised me as well. I think because Marvel used to ignore most of their female characters but Sue used to get automatically included because of the Fantastic Four.
