I miss that game sooo much, the jean community were very intense in their requests but it did create a better character, a pity it ended just as she got an original costume as a horsemen of apocalypse

Marvel heroes jean was really fun, You could spec into either her psychic pink power or phoenix stuff, watching her various costumes with the fire signature was a very special experience.

That quote doesn't read like him saying she was a bad wife, it's him saying that they were drifting apart. She was becoming godlike and they weren't emotionally connected anymore. He didn't say she was bad.

Only Scott was drifting apart. He was drifting apart because Jean didn't atent his needs. It is exactly what was written.
Morrison and the story basically said that she was a bad wife, IDK why people try to justify sexism.

IKR, someone should have told Teen Jean to dump Scott and stick to Warren. I didn't understand why Teen Warren didn't have any feelings for Teen Jean when they came to their future since he wouldn't get over her until X-Men 32 and even then, clearly there were residual feelings left. A Warren/Jean pairing would have made way more sense than Hank/Jean. I never understood that pairing in X-Men Forever either.

I had a bit of hope the time that Angel save her and she was all smitten over him. But then Bendis wanted her with Beast, he had to put Laura with teen angel.

That's fine, I was never a big fan of his run besides introducing Fantomex (who I only liked when Rick Remender took over him) and his portrayal of Jean. I did like his version of Jean but like I've said before, it doesn't work for me in the long run considering everything he built her up to be only to kill her off for the fake blonde. Had Morrison never come around, whether the X-Men were more interesting or not, Jean wouldn't be dead and a fake blonde wouldn't have slept her way to the X-Men's leadership for a decade. Very disgraceful period for all the X-Women who were thrown aside because the writers didn't find them as sexually explicit so not worth keeping around.

this was a great costume in my opinion

I love this design too. It's nicely detailed and very unique. Probably wouldn't work in the comics, but I'd love to see something like this in the MCU one day.

Bella Thorne as Jean. Or Mina Sundwall. By the time they make this movie Mina will be the right age for Jean. The 0 X-men should be in their early 20's so you can start a franchise around them.

If i have to cast a famous actress for a teen Jean it would be Saoirse Ronan but i'm not against having unknow actors for the new x-men but respecting the most important characters physicals.

Apparently X-men Monday tomorrow will be an interview with Russell Dauterman. Chris H, the X-men Monday writer teased on twitter that they will discuss the Marvel Girl outfit. They will also discuss Giant Size Jean Grey and Emma Frost as well as the upcoming Storm issue.

Dauterman is a big fan of both Jean Grey and Storm. I believe he has said numerous times that they are his favorite X-men.

He didn't use the Marvel Girl outfit but I wonder if he will defend it. I loved his version of the X-men Red costume. I wish it would be used more.

Yes, He is a great artist, and a very very sweet man. I follow him on twitter, and he's clearly and with no doubt a Jean Grey fan since the 90's anime.

My partner thinks Saoirse Ronan would make a great Jean. I hear it from him quite a bit. I'm not sure about her as Jean but I like that she is a good actress. She does kind of remind me of Sophie Turner in a way.

I'd just keep the current Jean and most of the current cast and do the MCU style costumes.
