For me, in terms of hair and eyes, I prefer TAS Jean/Jim Lee red hair. While I love gingers, I personally feel that Jean’s unusually intense red hair should be part of her mutation. She’s no ordinary ginger. Plus I don’t like Jean with freckled, as that’s a modern depiction and again, to me she should have superhuman attributes, flawless skin. Her eyes should be a vibrant green color. I’d also make 2020+ Jean a tall woman tho not as tall as Storm. Maybe 5’9”. There has to be an element to her beauty that is fierce and striking to hint at her association with the Phoenix. Just my opinion.

    It’s a perfectly good opinion.

I definitely prefer when Jean's hair is more prominently red than orange. Like other have said, an in between probably works best.

Banshee and Siryn should have the “orange” hair.

Jean and Rachel should have the “red” hair

I feel like the red hair should be because of their mutation just like how Lorna has green hair is

Agreed! I've always thought Jean's hair should be "red" but she's not a ginger. It should probably be apart of her mutation or a family trait like Ororo's white hair.

Thats unecessary considering red is a natural hair color unlike green. Short of characters commenting that her hair looks fake, what you propose isnt something I think you can really portray with coloring

It's unbelievable because just because they "never stopped loving each other" doesn't mean they should be together without any actual growth in the relationship. Jean died in New X-Men and pretty much told him "go be with Emma. Move on!" And he did! So now that she's alive again and they both have evolved and moved forward separately, they are back together as couple? For what reason? So far it seems to be so that she can clean up his messes and tantalize the Logan/Jean/Emma relatonship

When Jean came back from the dead, it was obviously she missed Scott. They shared a passionate reunion in Resurrection and while she had to give that up, she didnt let go. In Red, she expressed wishing that he was there with her. When Scott was brought back, one of his first instincts was to run to Jean but he was stopped by Cable. When they finally came face to face, they shared a passionate kiss and it was obvious that the love was still there. Next time we see them 6 months has passed so alot could have happened in that time span. I dont find it too unbeleivable that they are back together

Totally agree with this. I don't like it when they make Jean look like a regular ginger, with freckles and stuff. Her hair should be red like blood. Probably not realistic but this is comics so whatever.

After everything they've been through, sharing a kiss that one time and being "in love" isn't enough for me. If Jean is going to be reduced to her relationships with scott, Id rather we at least see the development of the relationship. A lot can happen in 6 months, but I'd rather actually see what happened and learn how Jean feels. Jean expressing wanting him around in Red is enough for them to start playing house? Healthy relationships in my opinion don't really work like that

We saw how Jean felt, to be honest. Rosenberg had her suicidal because Cyclops wasnt around.

Now was that a "good" development or additive to Jean Grey's character? Perhaps not, but it was toxically "romantic" in the traditional negative way that Jott is. Now they are a happy positive unit raising Cyclops and his conveniently dead wife's kid. How can anyone not want this pair back together immediately?

For the same reason, some couples IRL go back together : they never stopped loving each others. It happens. And sometimes, love is enough, or is the most important factor in that decision to go back together. Writers can either decide to show an actual growth in relationship, or start from here and show what "problems" they have or don't have anymore, or just refuse to show and explain. Not that I like that. But it's the way things are.

But to be honest, I really don't mind that' they're back together (and that Jean has also a relation with Logan)... The writing around love and shipping is not what interests me the most in the books.

Jean isnt reduced to her relationship wtih Scott. Thats played a very minor and insignificant part of her characterization in the current era. She's had amazing development in X-Force, is shining as a QC member and got spotlight in the Giant Size issue and none of that was about Scott. Her relationship with Scott is part of her status quo but it isnt a part of who she is
