I heard a rumor that after season 2 of Morrison’s GL, we’ll be getting a relaunch. Any clue on who’s taking over?

There was a rumor a few months ago about Mark Waid.

Shot in the dark guess, probably another Corps book.

He seems to be doing better than Hal.

I really loved HJ&tGLC which is surprising because I found Vendetti's initial Hal run on Green Lantern quite meh. HJ&tGLC was my favorite Rebirth book (along side Tynion's Detective team book). It captured the feel of a Green Lantern book. Loved the Zod stuff, so much so I wouldn't mind Vendetti returning to the property, he gets it. I didn't really care for Green Lanterns as much until it's final arcs because only then did they tell GL type stories (space/sci-fi storylines) whereas originally it was a character driven book where the characters just happen to be Green Lanterns but they could have been cops, or knights or doctors.

I'm not a fan of the grey hair either. I'd rather Hal had long hair.

    Sorry, they're a package deal!

Really? Do you mean like he had during the "Renegade" arc awhile back...? I could not get into that look.

Side question for those who remember - Did everyone hate the grey temples back in the 90's? I always liked it (both then and now), and aside from a few mentions on the letter columns, don't recall it being very controversial.

Not from the 90s, but I kind of dig Hal with grey temples. At least when Broderick drew them, looking at how other artists drew them they could look rather ugly.

Agreed. Broderick, Jurgens, and Ron Randall (in JLE) drew the grey temples best.

Oddly enough, M.D. Bright - the regular artist on Green Lantern for much of that era - drew them too prominently, imho.

I liked the grey temples. I'm also a big Reed Richards fan, as well. Both from California, the west side.

I want it all. I want grizzled stubbly gray-flecked long hair Atomic Hal Jordan.

Yeah, the times it looked like a white streak across the back of his head or the entire lower half of his hair had gone grey is where it looked garish to me.

I assosciate the grey temples with Parallax, so they're never my immediate go-to's...

Only if he's also lost the plot and conjures a green cartoon lobster he uses as a sidekick.

    ...

I may be channeling Morrison's Happy right now.
