    Considering this was an origin story, Hal was our gateway character into the mythos. It could have been done differently. "Men in Black" is one example. But the GL film started with exposition then also topped it with more exposition when Hal joined the Corps. Sinestro even gives more exposition at various times. Overall, the movie needed a much better script.

    I'd read a team book composed of the human GLs, don't think they've ever all been present together.

    If we're talking within an actual story...I think it would probably have been that Green Lanterns arc where Simon and Jessica get trained by Guy and Kyle.
