Hal looks like the shortest person out of the big 5.

While he very well might be, he's leaning in and his rim light ends before the others do. Barry is level on eyesight but his cowl reflects light all the way to its top so he looks taller because of it.

Batman is actually closest to the frame (he has the largest scale) and yet nearly level with Barry, so it's likely he's in fact the shortest based on the composition.

He had the facial hair by end of the first volume if I remember correctly. Art looks great again but I'm not sure about the story this time. I'll reserve judgment until I read it but I wouldn't say this is a highly anticipated book by me.
