DC failed to manage the GL franchise properly.

I don't blame the fans for the fractured fan base, I blame DC.

When the franchise was hot, DC should have ran GLC like the X-Men books during their peek.

The GLC has less main characters than the X-Men, yet the mutants have more fan favorites (despite some really bad stories).

Having multiple GL's is part of the silver age canon.

DC should have tried to implement more character driven arcs to build the characters up between the big events.

None of the GL's should be interchangeable.

TBF, GL fan base was already fractured in 90s, for the reason we all know.

This is a beautiful piece of fanart! It reminds me how much I miss Helen. She was such a great addition to Hal's family cast and a big part of why I loved that Spectre run. I wish DC would bring her back.

Is she gone, wasn't it her that was cheering on Unca Hal in Sinestro Corps War during the big battle of Coast City?
