As a post-Crisis baby, my founding JLA lineup will always include Dinah.

Modern League series tend to write the big name characters at their most least-interesting autopilot, so if they wanted to make a book without the traditional founding members I'd be fine.

It's why I'm not really bothered Hal hasn't been on the League book in years or that Morrison's kept mostly a monopoly on him.

I prefer the Post-Infinite Crisis tweak that they both joined with Dinah as a quasi-founding member that split the difference between the Pre and Post Crisis. It helps break up the boy's club aspect and I would love to see Diana & Dinah interacting at that time.

I like to think that Green Arrow and Black Canary joined the League around the same time, although I think GA was the only one with precedent for being the next subsequent member after the Big Seven.

There's a fine line between confident and cocky and I don't think he ever really nailed that.

That said... For someone who can juggle asteroids, it's always tough to justify an 'arrow guy' on the team. Those 'human' characters never REALLY fit.

It was New 52 Justice League, everyone was written as a juvenile.

His Hal pre-Flashpoint was fine in my opinion. Though I general I think all the big name characters of DC are better off not being on the Justice League.
