Priest writing Hal Jordan again? Very interested to see that. He wrote Hal right before Emerald Twilight hit right? Always wondered what he thought of that, and how he made his return under Johns.

That’s an amazing cover by Jimenez. Honestly at this point they need to scrap the whole “one Lantern per sector”. It’s idiotic that every other Sector gets one while Earth alone gets freaking dozens. And 2400+ Lanterns to patrol an entire universe was always an idiotically small number. A police force of billions still wouldn’t be enough to patrol an entire universe, space is freaking huge, and Earth alone is almost 11 billion people. A universe full of sentiment life would have a population in the quintillions.

And we’re almost at the end of Morrison, my guess that the Green Lantern relaunch will hit in April seems right. Wonder who they’ll pick to write it and which Lantern will star.

So I got to read the second volume of Green Lantern: Earth One...definitely a very hard sci-fi take on the franchise (maybe a little too hard sci-fi), but it was interesting.

I was glad to see Carol show up and play a part (as well as her and Hal's relationship) .

I liked it too for the most part, felt they tried to juggle a bit too many characters/plot stuff and I wish they made it a bit more clear on what made the yellow rings more powerful than the standard GL.

The GL: Earth One books remain the strongest of the EO line in my opinion.
