I'm looking forward to Strange Adventures, and even though King isn't exactly the most popular DC writer these days, I wouldn't mind him doing a Hal series down the line. At least he sounds like he really likes the character and I think that's actually the one DC character he probably wouldn't be able to try to pull his "depression" take on. We've seen Hal beat himself up over the Parallax thing a million times before, so at this point what can a writer like Tom King possibly do to make a character like Hal Jordan start second-guessing himself again. King himself describes Hal as the most fun character in comics to write.

Yeah, the thing I like about the GL Darkseid War one-shot is how it was an emotionally intense Hal story without being depressing.
King can be fine in smaller doses, save for some of those HiC confessionals, so I'm not too worried about Hal.
Adam Strange, on the other hand...
i had to re-watch the trailer and look for the central power battery blowing up.
i hope the green lantern corp isn't used as punching bags. i keep on hoping that wb animation would produce tons of gl lore material. like oa going to war with apokolips. and hal and kyle eventually rescuing raker qarrigat.
My name is Wally West. I"m the fastest man alive. I"m the Flash.
