Just saw the tweet and I was about to post it here but I see you and Vordan beat me to it. That definitely sounds like a step back from 5G and even if it's not, The Green Lantern is one of the few DC titles I'm reading and enjoying so I'm glad Morrison and Sharp have the full 12 issues for their second season.

They will be. The entire point of the Green Lantern Corp is to STOP intergalactic tyrants from killing everyone. If the GLC were capable and competent... then this movie would be over before it starts..

I’m starting to think maybe Grant has some say in 5G since Flash #750 today directly referenced Season 2 issue 1 with Hal in front of the New Guardians. Either that or they’re being nice and acknowledging what he’s been doing.
