My name is Wally West. I"m the fastest man alive. I"m the Flash.
Favorite Heroes - 1-Flash/Wally West, 2-Superman, 3-Green Lantern/Hal Jordan, 4-Nightwing, 5-Hawkman, 6-Firestorm, 7-Supergirl/Linda Danvers, 8-Zatanna, 9-Robin/Tim Drake
I should learn to stop getting triggered whenever I see him with that grey hair. Irritates me every time. :/
Well, I get annoyed every time I see Hal with white boots....it's like nails on a chalkboard to me

The white temples worked for that particular era, because it was all about Hal being brought down to Earth and made fallible in Emerald Dawn, then culminating in Emerald Twilight.
That said, I am very glad that Johns figured out a way to recontextualize this period so Hal Jordan could become something better that more closely resembled the original version Broome & Kane created.
Arggh - yes!! Things like that are especially terrible because it's not like a colorist just made a mistake in a panel or two. Something like a figure (or a painting, which also takes a lot of time) must have gone through so many stages and approvals - how could that slip through??
