The abdomen area feels a little bit off.

Sometimes variant covers can refer to the plot of the issue, so could it be that the baby is part of one of the stories where Hal has to save it somehow. Wish there were more stories of Hal caring for children, he seems good at it.

Well if you're talking about the proportions, what is happening is that his head and hand are a bit over sized in comparison to his body. At least in regards to normal person proportions. I don't know whether the artist intended that or not. The rest is just styling of the costume.
