With the close of the last decade, let's also remember and celebrate several of the greatest titles Deadpool was featured in that took place during the 2010's!

Deadpool by Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn, later Gerry Duggan solo

    Uncanny Avengers by Gerry Duggan

And pretty much everything written by Cullen Bunn!

Good job on the appreciation thread cc008

My favorite Deadpool comics of the 2010s are the Duggan/Posehn run, Uncanny X-Force by Remender, Uncanny Avengers by Duggan and the Joe Kelly's run on Spider-Man/Deadpool. Also the Deadpool: Assassin mini by Bunn was enjoyable too, I would love to see Bunn on an ongoing Deadpool title one day.

I haven't read the first issue of the current ongoing so I can't comment on this one.

Outside of comics and movies, Deadpool was also amazing in Marvel vs. Capcom 3!!!

Let's hope this new decade will be good for The Merc with a Mouth!

Preview for issue #2 by KT: https://www.cbr.com/deadpool-2-7/

This actually made me go back and buy #1. Very interested in Cap's appearance and glad we're getting more fallout between the two of them.

I thought the use of Kraven in one was the selling point for me. Having a quality villain portrayed seriously gives KT some points for me.

    Bunn for Deadpool's Main Book!

Yes agreed. I read issue #1 last night. Little goofy at times but KT's voice for Wade isn't overly wacky or blubbering, which is nice. The introduction of Kraven at the end turned the tide and Cap being in issue #2 continues that feeling for me. I'll read that today.

I’m not familiar with Thompson’s work but I really enjoyed the first issue. I’m really excited about this series which makes a welcome change after the last couple of years.

I’d love see Bunn on an ongoing DP book and honestly, he probably deserves that opportunity. Feels like that ship has sailed though.

Yeah Bunn probably has the most Deadpool experience ever without ever writing the main title.

I enjoyed issue #3 a lot, it was heavy on the gags though but I think each issue of Thompson's run has been getting better imo

I saw the text livestream of the https://www.newsarama.com/49167-c2e2...nza-panel.html

Did Ryan Stegman implied that He worked or working with Chip Zdarsky on Deadpool, said as a joke but maybe teasing, if that's true. that would be awesome what you think

    Stegman won't leave Venom.

Finally read #3/#4 and while I feel the art is hit or miss, I'm definitely digging KT. 3/4 are just one fun bloody fight between Kraven/Pool. Just brutal kicks, stabs, and punches. Deadpool feels like he's being treated seriously, and responds to the situation seriously and even though this arc appears to coming to an end, Kraven and Wade's feud looks like it's just getting started. Good start for a first arc.

In the process of moving out of the house I grew up in (I've been out for about a year, but still have a LOT to go through... namely, comics). Going through which books and boxes I want to hold on to and which ones I want to either put into storage, donate, or try to sell. Came across my Deadpool box and looked through all of the issues I had. The first character which I collected full runs for. And a title that I will always hold on to. Need to play a little catch up on KT's short run, but I plan to. Hope you are all well and safe.
