-This New durability is only temporary.
-Storm would still get One-Shot, She-Hulks durability is not that impressive she got knocked out by XYZ
-Her durability isn't enough to survive blah blah....

These are the arguments you WILL hear IF Storm's durability ever increased.

SO excited for this!!! Some of the best artists out there will be recreating this iconic issue for its 45th anniversary. Can’t wait to see the likes of Larraz, Lolli, Bartel, Noto, Yu, and ROSS(!!!) interpret out girl’s introduction story!

the discussion was about her magic abilities I believe but I wanted to show recent examples where her latent magical abilities could have come to play.

in the first image dr strange used the bands of cytorrak on some of the xmen and ororo used her lightning to bust free from it. now some have argued he was weak during this period to try and lowball the feat; however, in the story there is no indication he was weakened.


the second image magik and storm were in another dimension and were trying to get back to limbo. several high level images channeled their power into her so that she could create the portal but it was too much power. in the scan provided ororo tells magik to let her be her lightning rod and ororo is able to channel the full power of the images and open the portal back to limbo.


this could be attributed to her magical abilities or her will power but its still a nod to her abilities.

I'd rather she be able to shift into an elemental energy form than to get generic super-strength. It'd be a more organic way to increase her durability.

I actually would like this too. I think though marvel gods by definition have higher durability but I'm not 100% sure of this.
