This is awesome. I wouldn't normally pick Naomi for Storm but this is definitely convincing.

I would never seriously consider her for Storm in any sort of acting capacity, but for still photos she certainly has the look.

Naomi has been, is, and always will be, my perfect physical aesthetic for Ororo. From the cheekbones, to the lifted brows, to the full lips and beautiful nose and all the way around with the mahogany brown skin. There will never be another like her, to me at least! I even believe she’s 5’9 which is close enough to 5’11 with that frame!

It's funny, Storm tanks Lightning attacks like Namor. The certain burst of energy catches them off guard, then they come back like nothing happened.

I think she Tanked it. Even though she did scream in pain She showed no signs of damage or anything she says "I'll Be Fine" like that Lighting bolt didn't hurt her.

Storm should have laughed at Alt Namor face, when he said he is unleashing the fury, and summon the Trition to her hand like it was StormCaster.

IMO...Major X was pure/poor fan-fiction. It adds absolutely nothing of importance or relevance to Storm's character (or any other character there-in, for that matter) past or present.

So...not canon.
