he most certainly doesnt get her you're absolutely correct. this is the same man who believed tchalla putting nanites in the atmosphere would stop her powers from working and that she needs weather to use her powers. and let's not even go to the whole being logans side piece.

2 million pure isn't a lot and it's barely at 3 million worldwide even with the promotion she did with the Superbowl Halftime show, the HBO special, and world tour. Saying she can't sell isnt' crazy because she can't.

That good because streaming took over. Tons of artist can barely sale 4 million WW in PURE sales now a day. Not even someone big like Justin or Ariana. They rely on streams. Not only that the album was exclusive to tidal for a LONG time. So yes she can still sales in the streaming era.

Mera is pretty tough. She certainly has the physical strength and durability advantage. She can also manipulate the moisture/water in someone's body. However, the way Storm trounced her above is certainly possible and a legitimate way to defeat Mera. I like Mera but a bolt from Ororo can put her down... especially when she is surrounded in water.

I feel like if Mera tried to manipulate Ororo's body water, it would be like when Katara fought that blood-bender, and she just became a better blood-bender immediately. Ororo doesn't usually do hydrokinesis, but it is well within her ability and her elemental powers are just in a completely higher tier than Mera's.

Salt water is actually an excellent conductor for electricity.

While Mera does have decent durability...I'm not sure it's good enough to withstand a real lightning bolt.

Mera’s best Lightning Resistance is taking a hit from Orm’s Lightning. And resisted electric Shock from Deep Sea Eels.

But that’s doesn’t really matter because those two Examples are not really comparable to Storm.

Mera only Body Drains you when she isn’t near water. That is something I’ve noticed about her. When she doesn’t have a sufficient amount of water near her she results to dehydrating you. I don’t know if Storm can stop Mera from taking her body water. But I’m confident if Storm increased the Humidity around her or what not it would be most effective.

But that wouldn’t matter. A good Dose of Lightning would do it. LOL

If we're talking about bloodthirst, Storm can be cutthroat as well. She's not beyond killing.
