In this particular case fine. They were both fighting Sabretooth and essentially teamed up against him. Cable called Logan soft and sentimental for getting "all misty eyed over a robot" (Elsie Dee), whom he was focused on saving/protecting, but otherwise they played nice in these issues.
I got to get back to reading my old issues.
I'm right up to the issue he fights X-Man.
I think I'm out on the current Cable book after this latest issue.
It was the best one and I love Duggan's take on Deadpool
I liked the letter to Deadpool and how chilling he takes his death.
"Hey, take care of my corpse, we'll meet again later." Like, he has fully assumed that he will end up resurrecting.
I didn't like it at all.

Anyone else annoyed with Kid ̶o̶b̶n̶o̶x̶i̶o̶u̶s̶ Cable? Where is Stryfe when you really need the Scion of the Dark Lord to blow his head off?
Cable is fun and Im digging how Duggan handles him. I do think it would have been an interesting twist had he goen back to the future at the end of X-Force and Kid Stryfe instead hitched a ride to present day and was what we got on Krakoa, bc his relationship with the Summer/Greys is underutilized and with Maddie back, I think thats something that could be interesting to explore
I’d love to see Stryfe. The OG version. Not the kid version we saw in Kid Cable’s X-Force series. And, yes, I will be rooting for him to blow Kid Cable’s head off as well.
That could have been cool. And then bring back OG Cable in his prime (full grown man, silver haired; think Ian Churchill Cable) through the Resurrection Protocols and he’d have to deal with this younger, more powerful version of himself now cozying up to his parents and sister. Could be interesting.
